Bacteriostatic/Fungistatic Activity


Anti-microbial additives can be added to all products to protect against the bacteriostatic and fungistatic activity. The AMS system employed has been found to be effective in inhibiting the growth of the following organisms:

  • Bacillus cereus

  • Bacillus mycoides

  • Bacillus subtilis

  • Brevibacterium ammoniagenes

  • Corynebacterium pseudodiptheriticum

  • Enterococcus faecalis

  • Micrococcus luteus

  • Staphylococcus aureus

  • Streptococcus pyogenes

  • Acinetobacter calcoaceticus

  • Enterobacter aerogenes

  • Escherichia coli

  • Klebsiella pneumoniae

  • Proteus vulgaris
